Effective date: October 27, 2026
This policy explains how Medical Career College of Northern California (the College, we, us, or our) handles information collected through this website. It covers website inquiries and website technologies, not the College’s separate student education records policies.
Information we collect and why
When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, and any optional information you provide, including your phone number, program of interest, preferred contact method, and message. A phone number is required if you request a phone call. Submissions also identify the page and form used to send the inquiry.
We use this information to respond to questions, discuss our programs, and follow up on your admissions inquiry. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, medical information, financial-aid documents, or other sensitive personal information through these forms.
Website hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request times, and pages requested to deliver the website, maintain security, and troubleshoot problems.
Inquiry processing and service providers
We use Web3Forms to process website inquiries and deliver them to our email account at mccnc2000@yahoo.com. Web3Forms receives the information submitted through the form. Yahoo Mail processes and stores the delivered email. These providers and their infrastructure providers process information to support delivery, storage, and security.
Our forms also use hCaptcha to help prevent spam and automated submissions. hCaptcha may process IP addresses, browser and device information, and interaction data to perform security checks, including before a form is submitted.
For information about these services, review their privacy policies:
Data retention
Web3Forms is configured to retain form submissions for 30 days. Copies delivered to the College’s Yahoo Mail account are retained separately, without a fixed deletion schedule, and may remain there indefinitely. The Web3Forms retention setting does not delete email copies held by the College.
You may contact us to request deletion of your inquiry information, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Providers’ technical logs and security data are subject to their own retention practices.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, can also support functionality and security. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cookies for our own targeted advertising.
Third-party security features, including hCaptcha, may use cookies or similar technologies to help prevent abuse and support accessibility. Their use and duration depend on the service and your interaction with it.
You can block or delete cookies and manage website storage through your browser settings. Restricting these technologies may affect security checks, inquiry submissions, or video playback. You can call us instead of using an online form.
Videos and external websites
Embedded YouTube players load only when you select a video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedding mode at youtube-nocookie.com. Once activated, YouTube receives technical information about your visit and may use cookies or similar technologies in connection with playback. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information is transmitted. Review Google’s Privacy Policy.
Links to appointment scheduling through Calendly, maps, social media, and other external websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies. Information you provide on those services is subject to their practices.
California privacy and your choices
You may contact us to ask about your inquiry information or request access, correction, or deletion. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. Please do not send sensitive identity documents in an initial request.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, applies to the College and your information, you may have additional rights to know and access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercise applicable rights without discrimination. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. This policy does not determine whether the College is subject to the CCPA.
Our website does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals or Global Privacy Control signals. We do not use our own cross-site advertising trackers. Third-party services described above may process information under their own policies; browser signals do not necessarily prevent that processing.
Policy updates
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date when this policy changes.
